Karin Flordal

Karin Flordal is Education Manager for EU training courses and a researcher in political science. She has a long experience of how local and regional level works with the EU perspective and EU-related matters after 12 years as a policy officer at the international unit at the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR). During this time, she was also responsible for the common course that Sieps and SALAR offered civil servants as well as politicians on local and regional level. Karin also has experiences from working in the European Parliament in 2004–2007. A particular interest of Karin is how the EU affects the local, regional and national level as well as how these levels can affect the decision-making in the EU.

Karin has a Masters degree from The School of Public Administration at University of Gothenburg, where she, among other things, also studied English.
