Eva Lindström

Eva Lindström is an economist from Stockholm University. She has a long background in Swedish and European administration. 

During the years 1997–2003 she was Director General at the budget department of the Ministry of Finance and from 2003–2010 she worked as Auditor General for the then newly established National Audit Office. She has been Vice Chair of the Fiscal Policy Council and has also been a board member of the Expert Group for Aid Studies (EBA) and several other agencies such as the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, the Swedish Agency for Health Analysis and the Swedish Transport Administration. Between 2014 and 2018 she worked as State Secretary with responsibility for the state-owned company portfolio. She then spent six years as a Swedish member of the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg. Between 2024 and 2025 she was Chair of the governing board of the First AP Fund (Första AP-fonden).

In addition to her assignments as a senior advisor, Eva Lindström works as a member of the board of the Swedish Business and Society Association (SNS) and the Media Ethics Board.
