Joakim Zander

Joakim Zander is a Researcher in EU law, primarily responsible for issues related to the internal market, trade policy, and fundamental rights.

He is also an Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business Law at the School of Economics and Management, and Deputy Director of the Centre for European Studies, both at Lund University. Prior to joining SIEPS, he earned his PhD in EU law in Maastricht and worked for many years as a lawyer within several EU institutions and agencies.

Joakim is a regular columnist for Sydsvenskan on EU-related issues and frequently appears in the media as an expert on EU law.
