Mats Engström
Senior Analyst (environment, industrial policy)
Mats Engström has been involved in EU policy-making and analysis since the 1980s, inter alia as the first Environmental Attaché at the Swedish EU Representation, as Deputy State Secretary and Director of International Affairs at the Ministry for the Environment, and as an adviser to former Foreign Minister Anna Lindh. He has also followed EU policy as editorial writer at Aftonbladet, as Editor-in-Chief of the leading technology magazine Ny Teknik, as Policy Director at the trade union Unionen and as an analyst at the government agency Growth Analysis.
