EU som krishanterare: Ekonomisk styrning och finansiell stabilitet (2013:3)
The economic crisis has revealed a number of weaknesses in the structures of the EU and the EMU. The measures taken in the EU in order to thwart the crisis have been introduced at a pace that has sometimes made it difficult to keep up with developments.
In order to increase understanding and facilitate discussion, SIEPS has produced a report which aims to fulfill a threefold purpose. First, to describe the different measures taken since the sovereign debt crisis erupted; second, to analyse these measures in terms of the problems and stumbling blocks ahead; and third, to analyse the direct and indirect effect on Sweden.
The publication is part of SIEPS´ research project EU and EMU after the economic crisis.
Note: The report is in Swedish only, but includes a brief summary in English.
