Junckerplanen under debatt
The European Commission´s investment plan – the so called Juncker Plan – aims to promote investments in the EU. In this European Policy Analysis, Daniel Tarchys explains the investment plan, which consists of three parts.
The first part is The European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) which aims to overcome the current investment gap in the EU by mobilising private financing for strategic investments, backed by guarantees from the EIB and the EU budget. The two other parts are the European Investment Advisory Hub, EIAH, and the European Investment Project Portal, EUIPP. The text also provides a background to the establishment of this initiative as well as its possible effects.
The publication is in Swedish and is part of SIEPS´ research project The political system of the European Union.
