16–17 September: EU Days Lund 2024

EU Days Lund is the main Swedish annual EU forum, now in its fourth year, gathering around 500 Swedish and international high-level speakers and participants. This year's EU Days take place on 16-17 September and will focus on current topics such as security and geopolitics, economy, competitiveness and the climate as well as discussions on the European Parliament elections and challenges for the new European Commission.

EU Days Lund is an open forum for dialogue and exchange of ideas on current European issues and the future of EU from an international and Swedish perspective. During EU Days Lund policymakers, representatives from the business sector, academia, EU institutions, civil society, students and citizens come together to network and exchange insight. EU Days Lund is organised by the City of Lund, Lund University, the European Commission Representation in Sweden and Europe Direct Lund in collaboration with several co-organisers, including SIEPS.

On 16 September, SIEPS will hold a seminar titled Sweden, the Euro and the Future for the Economic and Monetary Union, with contributions by Fredrik NG Andersson, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at Lund university, and Jonas Eriksson, researcher at SIEPS.
