Bernd Parusel

Bernd Parusel är forskare i statsvetenskap. Hans forskningsområden rör främst migrations-, integrations-, asyl- och gränspolitiken i EU och EU:s medlemsstater. Detta innefattar även Schengen, viseringsfrågor och den fria rörligheten inom EU.

Bernd disputerade 2009 vid universitetet i Osnabrück, Tyskland, med en avhandling om EU:s politik i frågor rörande arbetskraftsinvandring. Han studerade statsvetenskap vid Freie Universität Berlin, Tyskland, med utbytesstudier i Neapel, Italien.

Han har tidigare arbetat som expert vid Migrationsverket där han ansvarade för aktiviteter inom ramen för Europeiska migrationsnätverket (EMN). Bernd har dessutom arbetat som utredningssekreterare vid Delegationen för migrationsstudier (Delmi) och som sekreterare i den parlamentariska kommittén om den framtida svenska migrationspolitiken (SOU 2020:54).
